Something To Sing About choir in concert

THE SOMETHING To Sing About choir, whose members are all cancer survivors, will perform a charity concert at the g Hotel on Friday February 6 at 8pm.

The choir was founded in 2012 by consultant medical oncologist Dr Paul Donnellan and now has different chapters across the world. The aim is to provide support and music therapy for cancer patients and survivors.

The Galway chapter rehearse every Wednesday in the g with accompanist Triona Glynn, under the musical direction of Lisa Seary, graduate of the BA in voice and dance, University of Limerick.

Joining the choir on the night will be Bel Canto, Padraig Connaughton, The Bluebirds, Kenneth Long, the Galway Gospel Choir, Sionna, and trad musicians. Money raised by the concert will go towards cancer research. Tickets are €15 from OMG Zhivago, McCambridges, and Duggan’s in Renmore.
