COMEDY, MUSIC, and air guitar antics will be the order of the day at Lose Those January Blues!, a fundraising event for the Galway Theatre Festival.
Lose Those January Blues! takes place this Sunday from 8.30pm in the Róisín Dubh and will feature a performance from Galway alternative-folk band Rivers & Crows, who The Irish Times described as playing “beautifully ghostly swirls and elegant, sweet harmonies”.
There will also be improv comedy with The Sky Babies; the inaugural GTF/Róisín Dubh Air Guitar Competition, with a special guest host and local celebrity judges; followed by the GTF Sunday Silent Disco with DJs Gugai and Ted.
Admission is €5. All proceeds go towards this year’s Galway Theatre Festival which runs from May 1 to 9.
