CORE THEATRE College has announced a new acting course which will run from March 3 to May 10, and enrolment is taking place now.
The course seeks to develop imagination, voice, and the body through text work, physical theatre, and ensemble development, and by examining the Chekhov and Lecoq techniques. This will form the majority of the first five weeks of the course.
The second five weeks will concentrate on putting the training into practice by working on a short ensemble play that will be presented on the last Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Galway.
The course will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and Sundays from 10am to 5pm at the Blue Teapot Theatre, Munster Avenue. The fee is €750.
