The deadline for the Galway City Council’s Marketing Promotion Fund for initiatives which support economic development, has been extended to Wednesday January 21.
The fund was established to ensure that Galway City Council can provide support for the holding of major events and festivals in the city. Funding will only be provided to projects that have a city-wide impact; it is not a fund for small-scale, local events.
There is no application form for the Marketing Promotion Fund. Proposals must be submitted, with a covering letter, using the guidelines available on www.galwaycity.ie Proposals must include a business plan, outlining the economic benefits of the activity or event. The funding should add value for the city.
Applications must be submitted to Marketing Fund Submissions, Economic Development Unit, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway. The closing date has been extended to 4pm on Wednesday January 21. For more information see www.galwaycity.ie or contact [email protected].
