bring along a CV. Avaya announced 75 new jobs at its Galway campus recently. This significant investment in the Galway site is a solid endorsement of the skills and people working at Avaya Galway and positions the Galway site as a key R&D facility for Avaya globally.
Avaya is recruiting staff in multiple positions, including research and development (R&D ), engineering, finance, IT and administration. The lion’s share of these positions are in R&D. The products that are developed at Avaya Galway are part of the next generation of market-leading engagement software applications.
At the heart of the Engagement Solutions Research & Development Lab, Innovation is the byword. R&D Director Tony McCormack (inventor at Avaya Galway ) with numerous patent recognitions explains that they are working with cutting edge technologies , Data Analytics, Distributed Systems and Video and Speech Analytics to mention only afew.
Galway is Avaya's biggest Global Contact Centre Lab. They have full ownership of the suite of Contact Centre Products in the Avaya portfolio. In essence they have been 'trusted with the future' of Avaya’s Contact Centre and Enterprise Software products.
This was recognized by an Taoiseach Enda Kenny deliberating choosing the 'Patent Wall' as a stop off point when he visited the facility in recent weeks to announce the creation of 75 new jobs. He complimented the 40 per cent of R&D staff in Galway who are named inventors (granted US patents ).
