JCI’s Techgate event last week at Monroes included some of leading start-ups from the West of Ireland as well as some of the better established technology companies showcasing their products and brands at the Expo.. Featuring eight speakers with outstanding talks covering a wide range of topics with representatives from Google, boards.ie, OnePageCRM and Ex Ordo to name a few, Techgate also supported local charity COPE and the Galway Autism Partnership.
Finally the interactive Technology Awards Winners were announced, with over 30+ nominated local companies across four categories. Cloud / SaaS Award Winner: Altocloud. Mobile / Apps Award Winner: Game Golf. Medical / Health Award: Medical Exam Tutor and Web Designer / Developer Award: Medialab. The attendees were asked to vote by their mobile phones through an interactive vote to pick the overall winner along with the judges vote.The Techgate Overall Winner for 2014: Medical Exam Tutor. Well done to all Winners from JCI Galway.
