The People Before Profit Alliance will put forward its alternatives to the Government’s austerity measures and water charges at a public meeting next week.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday December 17 at 7.30pm in the Imperial Hotel in Eyre Square. It will discuss “what kind of future we want for Ireland, is it a country with a growing divide between rich and poor and a lack of democracy and accountability or a country of fairness and equality,” according to PBPA member Kiran Emrich.
Fellow PBPA member Dette McLoughlin said it will be “an important discussion about how we can build a better society. We want to see everyone involved in that discussion and struggle.”
All are welcome
