Ladies’ Division 1: Titans kept the pressure on Moycullen at the top of the table by maintaining their good form against NUIG 2. There were two other tight games in the division, with Corrib catching up with Ballinrobe in fourth position after beating them by four points. The other match in the division saw Titanides get their first win of the season.
Results: NUIG2 23 Titans 71; Corrib 49 Ballinrobe 45; Titanides 32 Tribes 30; Na Gael 65 NUIG2 37.
Men’s Division 2: Titans Frontdoor went top of the table after a convincing win over Hibernian. However Na Gael will be looking to join them on top of the table when they play Barna tomorrow night. In the other game of the division last week, Claregalway took on the Tribes. In a thrilling match Claregalway came out on top, but only after overtime.

Maree Basketball Club Invitational Tournaments: Maree held two successful basketball tournaments at u-20 men’s level and u-15 girls’ level. Maree won both these tournaments, competing against some of the best teams in the country. Maree beat both Limerick Lakers and Moycullen in the men’s tournament, while Claregalway and Killester from Dublin proved to be the toughest opponents to Maree at u-15.
