Bell X1 to play The Black Box in March

BELL X1 release their new album, Blue Lights On The Runway, on Friday February 20 and play the first night of their upcoming Irish tour in the Black Box on Wednesday March 25.

The band is now a trio of Paul Noonan, Dave Geraghty, and Dominic Phillips. Brian Crosby departed recently to pursue production work and writing scores for films.

Blue Lights On The Runway will be released on the band’s own Belly Up label.

The track listing is ‘The Ribs Of A Broken Umbrella’, ‘How Your Heart Is Wired’, ‘The Great Defector’, ‘Blow Ins’, ‘Ameila’ (inspired by Amelia Earhart who was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic, and who subsequently disappeared over the Pacific in 1937 ), ‘A Better Band’, ‘Breastfed’, ‘Light Catches Your Face’, ‘One Stringed Harp’, and ‘The Curtains Are Twitchin’ which features a brass band Bell X1 met in New Orleans.
