GORDON BUCHANAN, the wildlife documentary maker and TV presenter is coming to Galway to share stories of his incredible experiences with nature’s most fearsome and majestic animals.
The show, entitled Lost Adventures, takes place in the Station House Theatre, Clifden, on Friday November 14 at 8pm and in the Town Hall Theatre, Galway, on Saturday 15 at 8pm.
Gordon, from the Isle of Mull, western Scotland, will delve into his 20 years’ of globe-trotting adventures, illustrated with his own film footage and photography, to tell tales of his encounters with weird, wild, and wonderful wildlife.
The Scot has presented such popular BBC nature programmes as Winterwatch, The Lost Land, The Polar Bear Family And Me, and the Royal Television Award winning The Bear Family And Me. His upcoming programmes include a look at the science behind cute animals on BBC1 in December and for January, The Snow Wolf Family and Me on BBC 2, a series about his time in the Canadian arctic getting up close and personal with wolves.
