E-Street Band man for Róisín Dubh

IF YOU know the cover of Bruce Springsteen’s album Born To Run, you have seen Jake Clemons’ uncle - the late, great, Clarence Clemons.

Jake Clemons, who plays the Róisín Dubh this Monday at 9pm, continues his uncle’s legacy by playing saxophone in The Boss’ E Street Band. However Jake is also a solo artist who also plays guitar, piano, and drums. He also composes music and is at his best when on stage, playing live.

“I need to be able to engage people; that’s where I flourish,” says Jake, who has also toured with The Swell Season, The Roots, and Eddie Vedder. Check him out and see for yourself.

Support is from singer-songwriter Nicole Maguire. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
