Jameson Cult Film Club returns to Galway

NOT CONTENT with wiping out one group of teenage friends, the Camp Crystal Lake killer returns to the Packanack Lodge to dispense with more unfortunate holiday-makers.

This is Friday The 13th Part II, the 1981 cult horror film, which will be shown at the Jameson Cult Film Club screening in Galway on Thursday November 13.

Continuing from previous Jameson Cult Film Club screenings of Fight Club, Predator, Jaws, and Intermission, the Galway screening will seek to transport audience members to the eerie surroundings of Packanack Lodge on the shores of Crystal Lake, through special effects, props, and lookalike actors in character and costume. Following the screening, there will be music from DJ Aidan Kelly, along with food and drink.

Admission to the show is free by registering through JamesonCultFilmClub.ie, but early booking is advised. The film club screening will take place at a secret location that will only be revealed to ticket holders.
