SsangYong Motors Ireland celebrated its first anniversary of the Korean marque re-entering the Irish market at the recent National Ploughing Championships.
CEO SsangYong Motors Ireland Joe Harris said it was a special day for SsangYong Motors Ireland as it marked a year since its first official Irish showcasing of the new SsangYong range at last year’s event.
“Over the past year people have gained familiarity with the brand so it’s great to revisit the location where it all started. The curiosity about our new range of commercial and passenger vehicles is as strong as ever, with the added advantage of the fact that over the past year the public have now learned what we’re all about – no nonsense cars with low cost of ownership.”
SsangYong’s key target market is companies with strong off-road needs and demanding towing requirements. Showcased at the event were the recently face-lifted Korando and Korando Commercial, recently launched Rexton W, Korando Sports and Rodius.
