Even better than the real thing?

U2’S PUBLICITY stunt for their new album Songs Of Innocence has met with, at best, a mixed reaction, but Galway fans will be delighted a leading tribute band to the quartet will play Monroe’s Live.

Rattle and Hum boast the showmanship of frontman Michael Malone, who has an uncanny resemblance to Bono. They have been called “the finest U2 tribute band on the planet” by Hotpress, and their set covers all aspects of the band’s near 40 year career.

The show is on tomorrow at 10.30pm. Tickets are €10 and available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
