THE WAY Back Home, a theatrical adaptation of the hugely successful book by the multi award-winning Oliver Jeffers, is set to be one of the highlights of this year’s Baboró International Arts Festival for Children.
The Way Back Home features puppetry, animation, and music and explores the boundless imagination of children. It is aimed at four to six-year-olds and will be presented by Branar Téater do Pháistí, Denmark’s Teater Refleksion, and Baboró.
In this story by Oliver Jeffers (The Incredible Book Eating Boy, Lost and Found ), a boy discovers a single-propeller aeroplane in his closet and uses it to fly into outer space. While in journeying through the cosmos he makes a new friend and undertakes a quest to help him.
