Mná Mná - women musicians on top

SINGERS EMILY Donoghue and Ria Czerniak and the band Mongoose play the Mná Mná Music night at The Cellar Bar on Thursday August 21 at 8pm.

Galway singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emily Donoghue, who is also lead vocalist with The Soprano Bats and Wilde Ida, possesses a soulful voice and her sound draws from a wide range of influences.

Ria Czerniak released her debut solo album Souvenir last year and she has also released the EPs Thread and Cherry On My Sundae. Writing songs since her teens she has also performed opera and jazz.
All-female quartet Mongoose are from Dublin and their sound is a mix of jazz and folk with an emphasis on vocal harmonies. The band are currently working on their debut album with Dimestore Recordings.

They also play Electric Picnic at the end of this month.

The night is curated by Niceol Blue. Admission is €5.
