JON AVERILL, the head of London based label Shock World Service, and Shock regular and Nightflight DJ Sol O’Carroll will be spinning the decks at the 110th Street Late Summer Boat Party.
The party takes place on board the Corrib Princess on Saturday August 23 with the boat departing Woodquay at 7pm followed by an after party in Factory from 11pm.
The Shock World Service is a project running since 2007 which takes the form of a series of podcasts. The podcast was started as a reaction to the ubiquity of mp3 mixes which were placing no attention to detail nor featuring track listings.
Each podcast comes with its own artwork and detailed notes from the compiler with a background on each track picked. 110th Street DJ Cian Ó Cíobháin is a regular contributor.
