Zeppelin tribute to touch down in Galway

NO STAIRWAY, the Galway based Led Zeppelin tribute band will be bringing a heavy dose of ‘Rock and Roll’ to Kelly’s, Bridge Street, on Friday August 15.

The band have been gaining a serious reputation among Irish Zep fans, their recent show in Cork’s Crane Lane, on the same night Robert Plant played the city, saw audience members declare them “the best Zeppelin tribute we’ve ever seen”.

The quartet - songwriter, raconteur, and entertainer Steven Sharpe (vocals ), Ronan O’Malley (guitar ), Shane O’Malley (bass/keyboards ), and Bill Dunne (drums ) - met through the Access Music Project Galway and last year started working on Led Zeppelin's back catalogue with the aim of making a show influenced by their studio albums and epic live performances.

Expect to hear classics like ‘Black Dog’, ‘Whole Lotta Love’, ‘Communication Breakdown’, and maybe 'Kashmi. So get ready to (Bron-Y-Aur ) stomp the night away.

Doors are at 10.30pm. Admission is €10/8.
