THEY HAVE sold-out gigs throughout the country, played for Uachtarán na hÉireann Michael D Higgins, and released their second album - all in 2014.
Rackhouse Pilfer, the Sligo roots/Americana/bluegrass sextet inspired by Bruce Springsteen and Steve Earl, have enjoyed a tremendous eight months with the release of Love & Havoc in March, and the recent performance for 350 guests at the annual Áras an Uachtaráin summer garden party. The band has also played Body & Soul Festival and supported Kila and Imelda May.
Rackhouse Pilfer play Monroe’s Live on Sunday at 9pm. Tickets are €10 from www.monroes.ie or free entry with a Galway Races wristband or race card until 11.30pm.
