The small coastal village of Kinvara is the place to be this weekend for its annual family fun day in aid Galway Lifeboat Station.
Now in its fifth year, the event will take place at the Kinvara quay from 2.30pm on Sunday.
A highlight will be the Irish Coast Guard fly past and simulated rescue with Galway Lifeboat. The lifeboat crew will be on hand afterwards to answer any questions.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be there, along with facepainter Loopy Lou, while boat trips will take visitors along the coast o see seals, Kayaking with Outdoors Ireland, and a Puc Fada competition are also planned, along with a barbecue, cake sale, book sales and a bumper auction and raffle to include a painting donated by musician and artist Jim McKee. Live music will be performed on stage throughout the day from The Rascals, and Jim Kee and band. The Galway Lifeboat crew will be on hand to check lifejackets and will also have a shop selling RNLI merchandise
