At Forster Court Dental Surgery, you can be sure your teeth will be kept healthy and sparkling for years to come.
The surgery, which is over 20 years in business, is located at Forster Court, close to the new coach station, offers a range of general practice services (except endodontics ), and places a major emphasis on preventative oral hygene. The surgery, which is owned by principal dentist Mary Colbert, not only ensures that your teeth are well taken care of but that clients enjoy the welcoming reception area and the friendly service provided.
Speaking about the surgery and the early days of setting it up, Dr Colbert said: “I started my first practice in 1984 in Taylor’s Hill. I was the first female dentist to open their own private practice west of the Shannon. I was one of the first to bring in a hygenist and introduce porcelain veneers. Cosmetic aesthetic dentistry is my trademark.”
Also ensuring that customers get top quality service at Forster Court Dental Surgery is associate Dr Una Burke as well as Dr Carmel O’Brien who has a particular interest in treating children with special needs. Customers can also benefit from the services of visiting implantologist Dr Maher Kemona, a specialist in surgical extraction.
“We have a keen interest in preventative oral hygene including fissure sealants which are wonderful for children, aged around six or seven, and ensures that their first permanent teeth are sealed. We also place a major emphasis on preventative oral education. We have to educate patients, as it saves them money if you only have to have a check up twice a year.” said Dr Colbert.
Another part of the business is facial aesthetics. Forster Court Dental provides services such as derma fillers for lips and wrinkle reduction injectables.
