Ireland’s largest sports photography agency Sportsfile, in association with the GAA, is giving supporters a chance to showcase their photography skills this summer.
A Season of Sundays, now in its 18th year, captures all aspects of the GAA seasonm and this year Sportsfile will add winning photos in the book.
“We want to see supporters young and old getting ready for the game, the build-up, the atmosphere, the emotions, the hats, the flags, the headbands and everything that captures big championship matches. Your picture, your choice,” says Sportsfile.
Award winning photographers will select the best shots. The overall winner will receive a Nikon D3100 SLR camera and five runners up will receive copies of A Season of Sundays. During the year entrants will also have the chance to win tickets to big championship matches. A Season of Sundays 2014 will be published by Sportsfile and launched on November 10.
All budding sports fans have to do is take a picture on their smart phone or camera and upload it onto twitter or instagram using the hashtag #mygaapic to be in with a chance of winning.
