Macnas’ Boy Explorer to visit Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Brigit’s Garden

Macnas’ spectacular 15 feet-high Boy Explorer will be making a special visit to Brigit’s Garden on Sunday June 29 for the Teddy Bears’Picnic.

Children are invited to bring their teddies and toys for a day of teddy fun with a teddy hunt, teddy music and dancing, a clinic for sick teddies, facepainting and teddy games.

The highlight of the afternoon will be a parade through the unique Celtic Gardens with the Boy Explorer.

“The magnificent Boy Explorer is on a quest to collect brilliant ideas on how to make the world a better place,” says Jenny Beale, Brigit’s Garden director. “We are delighted he will be visiting Brigit’s Garden to meet the children and their toys and we will ask the girls and boys for their great ideas to give him on the day.”
