The sixth annual rally to be organised by The Shrule and District Vintage Club will be held on Sunday in Castlehacket Estate, Belclare, Tuam.
Funds raised on the day will go to Ability West’s services in Tuam and the Cranmore Centre in Ballinrobe.
The use of the estate has been provided free of charge for the fourth year running.
This year’s event will also boast a competition for best dressed lady and gentleman with categories in vintage and agricultural style. Among the judging panel is award-winning milliner, Fiona Mangan, who has been short-listed for numerous prestigious fashion awards.
Organisers are expecting another successful day with attractions such as vintage car and tractor displays, a commercial display, dog show, children’s entertainment, threshing, cooking, churning, and crafts displays. The dog show which will take place on the croquet lawn located on the estate, while live music will be provided throughout the afternoon from local musicians.
Ability West provides services and supports to 520 children and adults with an intellectual disability throughout Galway city and county.
Admission for adults is €10 and children are free.
