The St Nicholas’ Garden Fete, one of the highlights of the summer season in Galway, will take place next Saturday, June 7, at 2pm.
The annual fete sees The Rectory in Taylor’s Hill open its gates to everyone in Galway for one day only. Soak up the atmosphere with cream teas on the lawn, serenaded by St Patrick’s Brass Band. Spin the Wheel of Fortune for fantastic prizes. Browse through books, bric a brac, potted plants, and the best of home baking. There are even church pews for sale. Take home a bargain – and you will be helping to maintain Galway’s medieval heritage. With bouncy castles, barbecue, face painting, toys, and games, the St Nicholas’ Garden Fete is a fun day out for all the family. Parking is available at St Mary’s College.
