THE POD, a “mobile daydreaming facility for young people” is touring County Galway, and will be in Coole Park this Sunday, and Silver Strand Beach on Saturday May 31.
The POD incorporates sound, light, scents, and sensory deprivation to encourage participants to daydream. It will be at both above mentioned sites from 3pm.
This is a collaboration by the Red Bird Youth Collective, architect Dominic Stevens, and artist Ruth Le Gear, and funded by The Arts Council of Ireland’s ‘Engaging with Architecture Award’.
