‘IN THE Mad’, the second single from Ultan Conlon’s second album Songs Of Love So Cruel is to be released tomorrow as a download.
The single launch comes ahead of Ultan’s gig in The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Friday June 6, and the release of Songs Of Love So Cruel in Britain. The Loughrea born singer-songwriter describes the song as “the story of a man lost, trying desperately to find himself in order to win back his wife’s affection”.
Ultan is on the crest of a wave at the moment with five of his original songs, and a score co-composed with guitarist Eoin McCann, featuring in the award winning film Songs For Amy, which is currently showing at IMC cinemas nationwide. His music has also been featured on national and regional stations throughout Ireland.
