Charity ball for Pieta House at Halo

Halo Nightclub has teamed up with Sinead Deane, a nursing intern at University Hospital Galway, to organise a charity ball tomorrow evening for Pieta House - the suicide and self harm crisis centre.

Halo will host the evening which features live music from the Amazing Apples, DJs, street performances, a drinks reception and plenty of chances to win a number of great prizes on the night.

Pieta House opened its doors in Lucan in January 2006 and now has six centres around the country, including one in Tuam, Galway.

Even with a staff of 170, demand for its services continues to increase and last year 4,000 people visited Pieta House for help.

Ninety per cent of Pieta’s income comes from fundraising events such as tomorrow evening’s charity ball, which is supported by The g Hotel, Joe.ie, Her.ie, Pat Divilly Fitness, Born Clothing, Delta Security Group, Irish Distillers, JC Printers, and Connacht Rugby.

Tickets are €10 and are available from Halo. Contact 091-565976 or Sinead 085-1625560. For more information check out Facebook @HaloNighclubGalway.
