ARMAGH STONER-metal band Astralnaut launch their new EP, the wonderfully entitled Thieves, Beggars and Swine, in Galway's The Cellar Bar this Saturday at 9pm.
Thieves, Beggars and Swine is Astralnaut’s fourth release to date, and showcases their mix of doom, sludge, stoner metal, fuzz rock, grunge, space rock, and progressive metal. The EP was described by Terrorizer magazine as “a solid set of top notch jams, which might well be their most assured and confident sounding material to date”. To hear for yourself listen to the album stream below:
The Thieves, Beggars and Swine cover artwork was designed by W Ralph Walters. It contains four witches, three to represent the band's previous releases and one to symbolise the new EP.
The Cellar gig is organised by HexenHaus Promotions. Support is from local bands Fires of Babylon and Weed Priest. Admission is €3. The EP is available through astralnaut.bandcamp.com
