An information evening for students considering part-time study options is being held in the Orbsen Building on the NUIG campus from 5pm-7:30pm on May 13.
The adult learners information evening will discuss the range of part-time, flexible learning programmes on offer for those hoping to develop new skills or enhance their career prospects.
More than 30 programmes will be showcased at the event, in the areas of business and management, education, languages, early childhood training, IT, as well as science and technology.
According to centre director Nuala McGuinn, ‘‘NUI Galway’s Adult Learning and Professional Development programmes suit students with a variety of learning and lifestyle needs. Courses are offered through classroom-based mode, online learning or through a blend of both, offering flexibility and support to prospective students.’’
