The Berlin Philharmonic, under conductor Sir Simon Rattle, will perform music by Elgar, Ligeti, and Wagner.
The concert takes place this Easter Sunday at the Baden-Baden Easter festival, and it will be broadcast live via satellite from the Berlin Philharmonic concert hall in Berlin, to The Eye Cinema, Wellpark at 5pm.
Galway audiences will be able to enjoy Elgar’s Cello Concerto, Atmosphéres by György Ligeti, Wagner’s Prelude to Act I of Lohengrin, and concluding with Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
