Teen comedians from Galway’s Backstage Academy of Performing Arts will travel to Scotland next month to perform at the Edinburgh Festival.
The students will perform a show entitled Teen Comedy Improv, a combination of stand up and improvised comedy, for a teen audience, at St Augustine’s Studio, Edinburgh, from August 12 to 17.
Each member of the team performs a stand up comedy routine which he/she has devised. They also take part in quick fire comedy games along the same lines as the television show Whose Line Is It Anyway?
