DUBLIN QUARTET Estel, who are celebrating 10 years together and have recently recorded an album with The Minutemen’s Mike Watt, will play Sally Longs tonight.
Estel’s music is a mix of prog, noise, and experimental and some have even gone as far as saying it is “the type of music that David Lynch could only dream of making on an acid trip”!!!
The album Mike Watt/Steve MacKay/Estel also features Steve MacKay who is best known for playing saxophone on The Stooges’ 1970 album Fun House.
Support on the night is from British Riot Grrl band Das Wanderlust, and Galwegians Rednecks On Speed and Old Hands. Admission is free. For more information go to www.myspace.com/usvsthemgalway
