Raglans to play Róisín Dubh

LILY ALLEN’S father, actor Keith Allen, who can currently be seen in My Mad Fat Diary, has called Raglans’ “an immensely powerful band!”.

His view is shared by www.goldenplec.com, which declared them “one of Ireland’s finest bands”.

Dublin/Wicklow band Raglans - Stephen Kelly, Rhos Horan, Conn Ó Ruanaidh, and Sean O’Brien - play the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 9pm.

Last month saw the quartet release their self- titled debut album, and before that the singles ‘Digging Holes’, which won airplay and praise from BBC Radio 2’s Dermot O’ Leary, and ‘(Lady ) Roll Back the Years’. The latter song was produced by Jay Reynolds who also worked with Elton John, Pulp, Jools Holland, and The Strypes. The videos for both have seen the band clock up more than 300,000 views on YouTube.

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
