Naomh Padraig Credit Union is encouraging local people to use the Easter break to sort out their household finances for the rest of the year, by planning for holidays, school expenses, home improvement and family events.
Naomh Padraig Credit Union will remain open during much of the holiday period and is advising people to use this opportunity to visit the office at 24 Eyre Square, and see how the low cost financial services on offer can help balance the household books.
Mary Ryan, Manager of Naomh Padraig Credit Union said: “As the long evenings have arrived we have noticed that members are beginning to commence home improvements. Members who avail of our home improvement loans may also qualify for the
governments Home Improvement Incentive. This scheme applies to jobs carried out up to 31st December 2015.
“It also provides for a tax credit for homeowners on repair, renovation or improvement work to their principal private residence.
She added, “The credit union is open throughout the Easter period except for Good Friday and Easter Monday. Trained staff are available to offer advice and support.”
