The Knocknacarra spring clean takes place on Sunday April 13 at 1pm and volunteers are needed to help.
The clean-up is being organised by local councillors Niall McNelis and Donal Lyons, who are both members of Galway Tidy Towns. Volunteers are needed to pick litter, remove grafitti, and do a general clean-up of the area. Equipment and refuse bags will be supplied by the Galway City Council. Volunteers will assemble at the Clybaun Hotel car park.
