Galway still have chance for semi-final

Galway senior camogie ladies are still in the hunt for the last semi-place in this year’s Irish Daily Star Camogie League division one after a 4-7 to 0-12 win over Clare.

Both sides must still wait until the final round to see if they can grab that last place, with Galway at home to Derry and Clare away to Limerick.

Last weekend Galway pulled ahead by five points, only to be pegged back by four points from Claire McMahon before the break. Clare went two points clear before four Galway goals from Niamh Kilkenny, substitute Brenda Hanney and Emma Kilkelly sealed the win for the Tribeswomen.
