TOMMY FLEMING, one of Ireland’s premier singers, will play the Royal Castlebar Theatre on Saturday January 10.
From a very early age Fleming's natural singing ability was realised on the local talent competition and concert circuit. Eighteen years later, and a testament to his talent and determination, he has become one of the country’s musical success stories.
Hailing from the west of Ireland, Tommy was asked by Phil Coulter to join him and his orchestra on an Irish and American tour in the early 1990s. Fleming astounded audiences with his renditions of classic traditional songs and so his fan base grew hugely.
In the last decade, he has had phenomenal success with his album Tommy Fleming: The Collection achieving platinum status in the first week of its release and his most recent album A Journey Home receiving critical acclaim since its debut.
