Michael O’Doherty, bestselling author of Just Imagine – A Life Without Illness and co-founder of the Plexus Healthcare System, will be in Galway next week to launch a new book and CD programme, Enlightened Birth – From Womb to World. Aimed at empowering women during pregnancy and birth, the programme has been written and developed by mother of four Aisling Connolly.
Speaking in advance of the launch, Aisling Connolly gave some insight into how her programme can assist women and their partners in embracing pregnancy and having a positive birth experience. “The programme will guide and support mothers through pregnancy, from conception to those transitional early weeks of motherhood,” she said. “It assists in managing natural stresses and anxieties associated with imminent parenthood; it focuses on developing the unique bond between mother and baby within the womb; it will empower women to enjoy pregnancy and reaffirms women’s innate birthing ability, guiding them toward a calm and positive birth.
“The evening is about raising the awareness of how influential womb life and birth experience is at shaping our babies’ future health – both physically and emotionally,” she added. “I will be on hand on the evening to discuss the benefits of the programme and answer any questions.”
The evening will be hosted in the Clayton Hotel from 7.30pm to 9pm on Thursday March 20.
