RTÉ broadcast journalist and NUI Galway graduate Gavin Jennings will be one of the main speakers at the National Student Radio Conference.
The first NSRC will take place tomorrow and Saturday in Áras Na Mac Leinn, NUIG and will be hosted by the university’s Radio Soc in conjunction with the NUIG Societies Office and CRAOL. The event will explore all aspects of radio and the structures built around it.
Alongside Mr Jennings, other speakers will be Simon Maher (8Radio, Phantom ) and Alan Swan (i105-107, 2FM ). The event is specifically aimed at students from all around Ireland, but is open to all comers. Tickets are €8.
