A coffee morning which will take place at Tom Sheridan’s bar, Knocknacarra on Friday will support an eight-year-old city girl who is battling cancer for the third time.
Grace Kenneally from Tirellan Heights was diagnosed with the aggressive childhood cancer neuroblastoma and recently had a successful operation to prevent the condition spreading to her neck.
However surgeons have been unable to operate on Grace’s main tumour as it is too close to major blood vessels.
A support group called Cairde Grace has been set up and it is organising the coffee morning which will take place from11.30am until 1pm. All are invited to come along and support this worthy cause for a brave young girl.
