Bon Secours Hospital Galway, accredited by Joint Commission International, was recently awarded the 2013 NISO/NISG All-Ireland Major Safety Award for Medical Services. Business category awards are awarded to organisations which have met a minimum high standard (distinction level ) and who are best within their business category. This is the hospital’s second submission - in 2012 it was the recipient of a distinction in the Prestigious Award category.
The hospitals’ safety submission was assessed by an independent panel of international and national health and safety experts representing the National Irish Safety Organisation and the Northern Ireland Safety Group.
