THE FIRST heat of the €10,000 iRadio iRocks band competition takes place in Monroe’s Live tonight from 10pm.
Over the past month, bands across the country uploaded their video to the iRocks Facebook page, and the best entries have been picked by the public, with one wild card entry to be announced.
The first 15 finalists are Blu Loves Milo, Almost Instant, Rofi James, Prominence Live, Podracer, Gigabyte, TV After Midnight, Reckless Youth, Bríd Welby, Flat Out, Transit Getaway, Bite the Killer Cat, The Vintage Infants, Penny Wentworth, and Fallings.
Each Thursday for the next four weeks; starting this Thursday; four finalists will battle it out for a place in the grand finale at Monroe’s Live, on Thursday December 12. The shows will be streamed live on iRadio.ie and will see the winner scoop a prize package worth €10,000, including recording time, equipment, and promotion.
