Set List - comedy without a safety net

SET LIST is the ultimate test of a comedian’s creative and improvisational skills. With no script to fall back on, it is truly comedy without a safety net.

Set List, a highlight of last year’s Galway Comedy Festival, returns to the Róisín Dubh for this year’s festival at 11pm tonight, tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. So what is it all about?

The comedians taking part on the night get a never-before seen ‘set list’ of bizarre, outrageous, and ridiculous topics and words which they have to make up a routine and gags from, on the spot, off the top of their head - no rehearsals, no script, no safety net.

Set List shows have attracted great acclaim. LA Weekly called it the “best unscripted stand-up show”; The Scotsman said it was a “must-see show...the clearest view there has ever been into comic’s minds”; while Time Out London declared it “one hell of a night out”.

Get there early as you never know just who might be taking part on a given night for Set List.

Tickets are available from www.bulmersgalwaycomedyfestival.com and the festival box office in the Róisín Dubh (open 12 noon to 7pm ).
