WOB @ Monroe’s Live

A FUSION of drum‘n’bass, jazz, ambient, electro, and house is on the cards when Dublin trio WOB play Monroe’s Live tonight at 10.30pm.

Despite not being found in any official entry in the dictionary, WOB is nonetheless a familiar to fans of dance music. It is onomatopoeia for the throbbing sound of an electronic bass drum and often a one-word by-word for dubstep. As a result it made sense for Nenad Djordjevic, Paul O’Hare, and Stephen Kerr to adopt that moniker for their new live electronic music venture.

Support is from Dublin electro-acoustic combo Dioscó na mBó. Admission is free.
