Loughrea, St Thomas and Portumna favoured

The three remaining county senior hurling quarter-finals are down for decision this Sunday.

First up at noon in Kenny Park is Padraig Pearses v Loughrea.

Pearses are massive outsiders at 4/1, with Loughrea at 1/5 to advance to yet another county semi-final. That game is followed by Castlegar and St Thomas (1.30pm ). John Burke’s charges are hotly tipped to advance in that one.

The final game of the day sees Portumna and Ardrahan in action in Loughrea (5.30pm ). Joe Canning and company are 2/9 to come through that tie, with Ardrahan big outsiders at 7/2.

Beagh have already qualified for the last four following their 2-12 to 1-13 win over Turloughmore last weekend.
