Comedy shows at the Róisín Dubh

NEIL DELEMARE, one of Ireland’s most popular comedians, and four emerging names in Irish comedy, will present new shows at the Róisín Dubh.

Ahead of its Edinburgh run, Neil Delamere will present Smartbomb on Sunday June 30 at 8.30pm. The show looks at the meaning and power of words. The Scotsman said: “Delamere is a master.”

On Tuesday July 2 at 8pm, four comics will present their new stand-up solo shows. Barry Mack’s I Will Talk You Through It follows the comic’s attempts to learn how to whistle so he can act innocent after breaking things.

Alison Spittle’s Stoat Toast covers mental health, Will-I-am, dolphins, and terrorism. She has been on Republic Of Telly and was a semi finalist in So You Think You’re Funny.

Stephen Bennett’s Why Can’t Breakups Be Funny? will see the Galway comic search for the elusive cure to the dreaded breakup hangover.

Tickets for both shows are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
