THEYMAY be named after the tip end of Cornwall, but bluegrass band Land’s End draws members from Gloucester, Liverpool, Munich, Dublin, Cork, and Galway.
The Land's End Bluegrass Band play Monroe’s Live tomorrow at 10.30pm. The band formed at the Sore Fingers international bluegrass workshop last year and are led by Galwegian Hugh ‘Blind Boy’ Murray.
Band members play guitar, double bass, Dobro, 5-string banjo, mandolin, and fiddle and perform original material, bluegrass classics, and Irish and Baltic traditional music.
