St Nicholas’ Annual Garden Fête to be held this weekend

The Annual Garden Fête in aid of St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church takes place this Saturday at 2pm at the Rectory on Taylor’s Hill.

The Rector of St Nicholas’, the Rev Gary Hastings has issued an invitation to all Galwegians to enjoy afternoon tea at the fête. As in previous years parking will be available at St Mary’s College.

There will be numerous items on sale on the day; from azaleas to zinnias on the plant stall; apple tarts to yeast bread on the cake stall; and ‘bags’ and bottles on the bottle stall.

There will also be bouncing castles, face painting, and games for the young as well as afternoon tea, barbecue, raffles, and wheel of fortune. St Patrick’s Brass Band will provide the music.

Funds raised on the day will go towards the maintenance of St Nicholas
