INSPIRED BY psychedelia, surf rock, and nineties alternative rock, The Vincents are part of a new indie wave in Cork.
The band, which plays Monroe’s BackStage Bar on Thursday April 4 at 10.30pm, are determined to bring something new to the Irish scene.
“Like every other band around, we wear our influences on our sleeves but at the same time,” says frontman Marcus, “we try to transcend them and create something compelling, something a bit darker.”
The Vincents are on Irish indie label FIFA Records and their album is due out later this year.
